1. Who we are
“QuickSnip,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the QuickSnip product and websites (including quicksnip.online and dashboard.quicksnip.online). If you need to reach us about these Terms, contact support@quicksnip.online.
2. The Service
QuickSnip provides a keyboard-driven snippet and template tool intended for use with compatible email surfaces (such as Gmail and Outlook on the web) and a web dashboard to manage your account and content. Features may change over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every browser, mailbox provider, or third-party product change.
3. Eligibility and children
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of U.S. law.
4. Accounts and authentication
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Authentication and account management may be provided by our vendor, Clerk, and is also subject to their terms and privacy practices. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current.
5. Subscription, billing, and taxes
Some plans are paid. Fees, renewal terms, and features are presented at checkout and in-product. Payments are processed by Stripe; charges may appear under our or Stripe’s descriptors. Unless we state otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You are responsible for all applicable taxes except those we are required to collect. We may change prices or introduce new fees with reasonable notice where required by law.
Cancellations and refunds. You may cancel a subscription through the billing or account tools we provide, or by contacting us. Unless required by law or stated at purchase, payments are generally non-refundable. Refunds requested outside our tooling may be handled only through the payment processor where permitted.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
- Use the Service to send spam, malware, or deceptive or unlawful content.
- Probe, scrape, overload, or attack our systems; circumvent security or access controls.
- Misrepresent your identity, interfere with other users, or resell the Service without authorization.
- Reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law prohibits this restriction.
We may investigate and suspend or terminate access for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or puts the Service or other users at risk.
7. Your content and data
You retain rights to snippets, templates, and other content you create (“User Content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and display User Content solely to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service to you. You represent that you have all rights needed to submit User Content and that it complies with these Terms.
QuickSnip is designed so that insertion of text generally occurs in your browser; nonetheless, content you sync to the dashboard is stored on our infrastructure so you can access it across devices. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
8. Third-party services
The Service interacts with email providers and other third-party sites (for example, Google or Microsoft). Your use of those services is governed solely by your agreements with those third parties. QuickSnip is not endorsed by or affiliated with those providers. We are not responsible for third-party downtime, policy changes, or blocking of extensions.
9. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including software, branding, and documentation, subject to the open-source licenses of any components where noted. Except for the limited rights expressly granted here, no rights are transferred to you.
10. DMCA / copyright notices
If you believe material on our Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@quicksnip.online with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) or equivalent law, including sufficient detail for us to locate the material. We may remove or disable access to challenged material in accordance with applicable law.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF LOSS OF DATA.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER QUICKSNIP NOR ITS SUPPLIERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.
13. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QuickSnip and its affiliates, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive.
15. Governing law; disputes (United States)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction’s law, and the federal laws of the United States. Unless you and we agree otherwise in writing, any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware (“Courts”), and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. You may also have rights under the laws of your home state; nothing in this section limits non-waivable consumer protections.
Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@quicksnip.online so we can try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Class actions. Where enforceable, you and QuickSnip agree that each may bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as a class representative or member.
16. Export; sanctions
You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from receiving U.S.-origin products or services under export control or sanctions laws. You represent that you are not on any U.S. government restricted party list.
17. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by email or in-product notice). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, unless applicable law requires a different process.
18. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and QuickSnip regarding the Service. If a provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale.
